I am originally from Michigan but moved to South Carolina in 2021. I have a dog named Bear and a cat named Leo. I like to read books, watch documentaries, and play Pokemon in my free-time. I love sports; Go Lions and U of M!
I believe in play-based learning with autonomy with the client being in the front. Building a strong rapport is very important to me to be able to see progress and change over time.
My favorite experience was when I first started ABA in 2020, my client went out of his way to ask his peer to play with him. The peer was non-vocal; my client grabbed the handle of the wagon the peer was in and pulled them to where he was playing so the peer could join. It brought me so much joy and was so proud of him for wanting to include his peers and taking the initiative.
I am able to make a positive change for kids lives and give them the opportunity to succeed in their own way.
You can expect that I will be ready to play and have fun while changing behaviors.
